Syringin, cordioside, and cordifolioside were found to possess immunopotentiating activity. The possible mechanism of immunomodulatory activity of Tinospora cordifolia stem extract was elucidated as activation of macrophages leading to increase in GM-CSF which in turn leads to leukophages and improved neutrophil function.
