Tamarind fruit extract given along with Aspirin 600mg in human volunteers increased its bioavailability.This was not seen when aspirin was taken under fasting state or with the meal without the fruit extract. so this effect was seen when aspirin was taken with the meal containing fruit extract.The same action was seen even with salicylic acid.
